HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATE , MIT Investment Company (MITIMCo) , will partner with the director of HR to foster an inclusive, engaging, productive, and supportive workplace for all employees. Will lead all recruitment activities, including sourcing a diverse pool of candidates for all positions, ensuring MITIMCo is following fair and equitable hiring practices; directing the onboarding processes; and ensuring MITIMCo's compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Will also support the HR director in executing the company's goals and activities related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); assist in researching, designing, and implementing best practices; collaborate on implementing and evaluating programs and education activities; collect external data and metrics for benchmarking; and manage ad-hoc projects as directed. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is eager to develop a career in HR.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree; at least three years' HR or related experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); excellent interpersonal, customer service, and verbal and written communication skills; highly effective collaboration skills and desire to work in a team-oriented environment; demonstrated ability to lead and deliver projects within a defined timeframe, manage competing short- and long-term goals/projects, resolve complex problems in a thorough and timely manner with minimal supervision, multitask, and offer flexibility to accommodate changing priorities; discretion and appropriate judgment with confidential matters; meticulous attention to detail; and willingness to suggest and follow through on improvements/refinements to improve overall team effectiveness; ability to interface with all levels of staff through executive management.
