Under general direction, the IT Relationship Manager designs and oversees the relationship management program to coordinate engagement of clinical stakeholders and end users in a meaningful way with the Universitys IT department. Goals of this program include a streamlined and transparent demand intake process that ensures alignment of IT services and projects to strategic goals, stakeholder needs, and resource capacity; deeper engagement of faculty, staff, and students with IT staff and governance; enhanced adoption of existing and new technologies; improved information/knowledge sharing and collaborative problem solving among IT staff. The IT Relationship Manager establishes and maintains ongoing relationships with functional units, University leadership, IT staff, and IT Portfolio Teams to understand business needs, align existing services to meet existing needs, identify gaps, and collaborate with technical resources to research and recommend new services based upon business case. Engages and develops ongoing relationships with stakeholders to include: Deans, VPs, and functional area teams, IT Portfolio Teams, IT Advisory Committee, Info Security Committee, and IT leadership; understands current and future business needs and existing IT services; identifies gaps and solutions based upon training opportunities, existing services, or new services/technologies.
Bachelors degree in information systems, business administration, project management, data analytics, or related field; supplemented with five (5) years of experience in information technology, technical project management, or a related field. Experience in a Higher Education or clinical environment preferred.
