Position Summary: This faculty position is responsible for operations within the School of Nursing Clarke Laboratory and Simulation Center. This position provides technical support for all simulators, lab and clinical equipment; and includes preparation, maintenance and management of the repair of simulation and lab equipment, hardware and associated software. A passion for teaching nursing students as well as working with technology is essential. This position works within a team and in partnership with faculty to ensure that day to day operations and goals are achieved. Â
This 9 month Simulation Operations Manager requires:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Master's degree in Nursing or related field required
Experience in Simulation required
Proficient in the use and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software
General knowledge of AV systems and basic troubleshooting
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong technical skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Licensure and eligibility for licensure in the state of Missouri
Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
