This clinicallyâ“oriented, full time position emphasizes spine services and offers the opportunity to see patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis.Â Based at the Health Sciences Center campus, all faculty have ample opportunity to be involved in teaching medical students and orthopaedic surgery residents. The orthopaedic spine surgeon would specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal diseases and conditions, providing non-operative and surgical treatment to patients of all ages, but primarily to adults. Our candidate would treat certain spinal problems such as scoliosis, degenerative disorders, or a particular region of the spine (cervical/neck, lumbar/low back).Â
