Metabolic Network Modeling and Systems Analysis of BioEnergy Microbes for Direct Conversion of Lignocellulosic Biomass into Advanced Biofuels

A post-doctoral research associate position is available in Dr. Trinh's laboratory in The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The project involves the development and application of metabolic network modeling and systems analysis tools to fundamentally study metabolisms and guide strain engineering for effective conversion of lignocellulosic biomass into advanced biofuels and biochemicals. The contract is on a one-year basis and can be extended based on the research progress and funding availability .
