SALARY Commensurate with training and experience. This position is funded jointly by UT Extension and Jackson County. Jackson County Government funds 22% of the position salary and benefits costs.

Responsible for management and operations of the county staff, programs, facilities and equipment.
Plan, execute, and evaluate Agriculture and Natural Resources (50%) and 4-H Youth Development (50%) programs.
Keep abreast of the latest information in agriculture, marketing and community economic development to meet the educational needs of the county.
Responsible for the County Equal Employment Opportunity Program.
Serve as liaison between the Regional Director, county officials and County Agricultural Extension Committee.
Be familiar with the county, its situation and its people.
Maintain good public relations with staff and audience.
Provide leadership for a program of activities that meets the needs of all eligible clientele regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, religion or veteran status.
Assume other duties as assigned.
