IU Event Services, a department of IU Auditorium, is Bloomington's leading provider of guest services staffing. Our guest services model follows the simple rule to exceed guests' expectations in every facet of their experience. IU Event Services events are aligned with the vision and goals of the organization we work with, bringing with us the philosophy that the organization and the events must be created with the customer in mind.
Testing Site Staff are responsible for directing patrons, checking-in patrons, communicating testing details, distributing testing materials, and collecting completed testing samples at testing sites on the IUB campus. Testing Site Staff help with a variety of activities, including Mitigation Testing, Arrival Testing, Flu Shot Clinics, and more. Staff report to the Site Manager. Training and personal protective equipment, including gloves, masks, and cleaning materials are provided. Staff are required to follow safety procedures that have been reviewed by campus safety officials.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information with team members and patrons. Ability to diligently follow distribution, collection, and packaging procedures set by IU Environmental Health and Safety. Ability to learn the testing process, each staff position, and approved student/staff exceptions. Ability to work a minimum of two shifts each week.
$12.00 per hour.
Shift times vary, up to 29 hours per week.
