Principal Duties and Responsibilities (The statements below are intended to describe the essential duties of the person or persons assigned to this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties and responsibilities.)
Perform or oversee logical and thorough literature searches, including those needed to parameterize disease simulation models.
Request, manage or maintain databases.
Conduct preliminary analyses and prepare data visualizations.
Assist with or initiate presentations, manuscripts, and grant submissions.
File or maintain human subject reviews, subcontracts, and data use agreements.
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor's degree in relevant math, science, or humanities field. Master's degree preferred.
1-3 years of research experience preferred.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to tackle moderately complex to complex data/analytical problems.
A self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented disposition.
Expertise with statistical and graphing programs, such as STATA, SAS or R preferred
Outstanding candidates will possess the above skills and be able to commit to a 2-year position.
