Reporting to the Assistant Vice President and Director of Admission (AVP/DOA), the Director for Strategic Recruitment will provide primary direction and oversight for the Office of Admission regarding its domestic first-year recruitment efforts. A critical role in ensuring the continued success of the Office of Admission in its quest to recruit the brightest, best, and most diverse students from the state of Ohio, across the US, and around the globe, the position will have responsibility for overseeing all aspects of territory and prospect management, analyzing institutional data to assign recruitment territories, assessing key metrics to measure effectiveness of current and future recruitment practices and priorities, including all domestic first-year marketing and communication efforts, and maintaining and cultivating relationships with key external constituents, including high school counselors. A member of the Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) leadership team, the Director will oversee key recruitment initiatives, ensuring use of industry-leading best practices and emerging trends, continued and new opportunities for leadership and presence in key organizations at national and regional levels, and the development and deployment of detailed and ambitious strategic plans for each territory. The position will also assess and communicate the impact and ROI of these positions at the conclusion of each enrollment cycle. All regional staff based outside Ohio will report up to this position.
