The Crisis Team member is an authorized Licensed Mental Health Professional, having completed all requirements for Los Angeles County LPS designation to evaluate and/or place mentally disordered persons meeting criteria for Involuntary Hospitalizations on 5150 Holds to Verdugo Hills Hospital for 72-hour emergency intervention. The Crisis Team Member will coordinate assessment information with the Medical Director, Program Director and/or Clinical Director/Charge Nurse and appropriate Community Agencies prior to disposition or transport. â
Experience/Knowledge:- Minimum three years current experience as a Licensed Mental Health Professional working with adult, geriatric and orthopedic patients, recent psychiatric experience preferred.License/Certification:- Licensed Mental Health Professional. - Current BCLS certification through the American Heart Association.- AB 508 Certification.
