Responsible for the operation and maintenance of cyclotron and other related equipment in compliance with radiation safety, laboratory safety, and quality control. This position will produce, test, and package radiopharmaceuticals in a CGMP compliant environment.
Participates in PET tracer productions, including operating cyclotron and radiochemistry modules and dispensing and packaging final products.
Oversees facility and equipment maintenance and upkeeps their safety and quality standards.
Is part of CGMP PET drug manufacturing and works in compliance with FDA regulations.
Successful Candidates Must Demonstrate:
Demonstrate expertise in cyclotron and radiochemistry module operation in CGMP and cleanroom environment.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degreeMinimum Experience: 2 yearsMinimum Field of Expertise: Two yearsâ experience in chemical engineering, chemistry and/or radiochemistry. Demonstrated experience in cyclotron and radiochemistry module operations in a cGMP and cleanroom environment. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Proven ability to interpret, apply and maintain compliance with policies, procedures and regulations. Working knowledge of PET radioisotope production workflows.
