The University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine, Department of Preventive Medicine is seeking an Associate Professor with Tenure of Health Behavior Research. The candidate will be expected to conduct studies in cancer survivorship, cancer causes, and health disparities.Â The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of obtaining extramural funding and the ability to teach under-graduate and graduate-level courses in health behavior, wellness, and violence. Candidates should be able to develop and maintain an independent research program focusing on cancer survivorship, disparities, cancer causes, cancer treatments, and have a leadership role with the Center for Young Adult Survivorship and the Cancer Control Program at the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. Â
Minimum Qualifications include having a PhD in health behavior or related field with twelve years of post-doctoral training. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated track record of: acquiring extramural funding for their research, collaborating with other researchers, and addressing health disparities and inequalities in their work.Â Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills, and experience with analysis of multiethnic populations.
