Research Fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences

The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine of USC is seeking a board-eligible psychiatrist to join our team as a research fellow for two years. This position requires the successful applicant to provide 20 hours per week (50% FTE) of clinical psychiatric care at LAC+USC hospital. The remainder of the week, the candidate will conduct research under the mentorship of an appropriate investigator at any of the USC campuses. This two-year position is ideal for an MD or MD/PhD psychiatrist who plans on submitting a K award proposal to one of the NIH institutes; support and mentorship in doing so will be provided.
This full-time position is in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Salary is competitive, and a generous benefits package includes health insurance, sick time, paid vacation, professional days, and a stipend for professional development.

Candidates must possess an M.D. and be board-eligible in Psychiatry and licensed or license-eligible in the State of California.
