The Industrial and Management Systems Engineering Department in the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources at West Virginia University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the general area of Supply Chain, Supply Chain Optimization, and Matching Markets. Knowledge, experience, and interest in composites manufacturing, machine learning and AI, circular economy, cascade use is a plus . This position supports research initiatives related to the design and analysis of decentralized supply networks, optimization algorithms, and supply and demand matching . The period of this appointment is for 12 months with the expectation to extend for an additional 12 months contingent on a positive performance review and the successful execution of the contract with the funding agency. This position is anticipated to start August 15, 2021.
