Bachelorâs degree and 3 years of related experience
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Experience working with managers on employee performance management matters
Experience implementing and administering HR policies and processes
Experience organizing and implementing employee communication, training and/or development initiatives
Experience providing support to employees in various HR-related topics such as FMLA
University Human Resources at Iowa State University is seeking candidates for HR Coordinator positions to support HR delivery to campus. These positions provide direct HR guidance and support to managers and employees in delivering professional level HR advice and services using a working knowledge of all applicable policies and procedures. Responsibilities include fielding questions on HR practices and strategies and escalating complex issues to the HR Partner as needed and assisting with performance management organizational development. These positions will provide Workday expertise and process support; leveraging the system in order to complete all necessary business processes.
Successful candidates will possess the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with a variety of individuals across campus. Providing regular, consistent and meaningful communication to campus is essential to the success of the positions. These positions will instill trust and confidence and be expected to create a culture that fosters a high standard of ethics.
