The Marketing Assistant supports the System Office Marketing Department by overseeing the office's budget and invoice system, managing daily internal communications to KCTCS faculty/staff, serving as the liaison between the colleges and SO staff, acting as the traffic manager to ensure all projects are executed in a timely and effective manner, providing both paid and organic social media support and providing general office and marketing support.
The open position is located in Versailles, Kentucky.
Oversee and manage the department's budget, invoicing and expenses including the creation and maintenance of a budget tracking software program and the alignment with the System's PeopleSoft/Budgeting platform.
Processing and Placing all advertising, marketing, promotion, and printing orders.
Oversee the following internal communication platforms –The Morning Buzz, KCTCS Scoop, Plasma Screens and Digital Sign
Assist with paid and organic social media for both the colleges and System Office.
Serve as the department's traffic manager to ensure all projects are executed in a timely and effective manner.
Provide general office support to the System Marketing and Communications staff that includes monitoring of staff schedules, process general departmental paperwork, etc. Serves as the liaison to the colleges.
Assist in the planning and execution of marketing/public relations/recruitment meetings and events.
Other duties as assigned.
Associate's degree or equivalent and three (3) year relevant experience.
Equivalencies: High School Diploma and five (5) years relevant experience; Bachelor's Degree and one (1) years relevant experience; or a Master's Degree.
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) year relevant experience.
KY law requires state and national pre-employment background checks as a condition of employment.
