Part-time tutor position available at West Kentucky Community and Technical College, not to exceed 24 hours/week.
Conduct tutoring sessions, workshops, and interactions
Collect data for tracking and analytical purposes
Communicates with students, faculty, and staff
Participates in professional development
Successful candidate should posess the following:
Ability to work with college algebra and more advanced mathematics. An "A" or "B" in college algebra is required for tutoring positions in the Math Center and Tutoring Center.
Ability to work with frequently requested courses. An "A" or "B" in at least two of the following subjects is required for tutoring positions in TRiO and the Tutoring Center; Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Computer Literacy, First Year Experience, History, Sociology, Psychology, Writing, and others identified by student needs.
Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
