Clinical Assistant Professor, Internal Medicine, World Trade Center (58615)
This position requires clinical participation at the World Trade Center Health Program's clinical sites in Commack and Mineola. Approximately 80% of the work effort will be devoted to patient care and administrative duties. 20% of the work effort will be devoted to clinical education. Administrative duties include general oversight of various aspects of the World Trade Center Health Program. Clinical activities currently emphasize aero-digestive diseases and psychological and social problems that occurred as a result of exposure to asbestos and silica exposure, related diseases are also of concern. Participation in clinical programs involving both the identification and treatment of WTC responder related problems is necessary.
