The department of Pharmacology is seeking a laboratory technician position to do research on Alzheimers disease, Parkinsons disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The applicant will be able to participate in exciting cell biology studies exploring the pathophysiology of these illnesses, and supply to the development of novel therapeutic agents.
Overseeing laboratory function
Performing molecular and immunochemical experiments in collaboration with other laboratory members
Applicants must be strongly motivated, able to work independently and possess a strong ability to prioritize data
In addition, applicants must have good social skills
BA required. Familiarity with PCR
Experience with animal husbandry and genotyping preferred
