The department of Property Management at West Virginia University is seeking applications for a Shuttle Driver. This position is responsible for driving a motor vehicle to transport passengers on a planned or scheduled basis. The Community Shuttle Driver will transport residents and students to and from College Park during the academic school year (Fall and Spring).
In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will:
Transport residents, students, faculty of WVU to and from College Park operating a 15-passenger vehicle.
Issue parking citation to individuals violating College Parks parking rules and regulations using Transportation and Parking ticketing software T2.
Maintain the service log for College Park Community Shuttle. Complete and report daily inspections of community shuttle.
Use a fleet card to purchase fuel for the community shuttle and maintain a monthly mileage report and sending to Motor Pool.
Maintain the internal and external cleaning of the College Park Community Shuttle.
Appointment Length : 9.5 Months
Pay Grade : 9
High school diploma or equivalent specialized training in business or customer service field would ensure the candidate has the fundamental skills for the position.
One (1) year of driving experience operating a mini-bus or over-sized vehicle preferred.
Ability to drive and operate a motorized vehicle.
Operate a cellular device.
Completing and updating a vehicle inspection and maintenance log.
Basic computer skills.
Class D driver's license.
