ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT 2 , School of Engineering , to assist--under minimal supervision--with administrative matters and daily operations for the associate dean. This will include working on special projects and activities as well as support for research and teaching activities.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years' administrative, office, or related experience; strong customer service, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; flexibility; tact and diplomacy with confidential matters; attention to detail; experience with arranging travel, paying invoices, ordering supplies, and handling account reconciliations and expense reimbursements; and high-level proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint), the ability to identify and learn new programs/software, and expertise using the Internet and online tools (e.g., Google docs, Dropbox, and WordPress). Must be able to multitask, work proactively to problem solve and bring projects to closure, and work effectively as both a team member and individual contributor in a dynamic and challenging work environment with changing priorities.
