Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ("APP") - Inpatient Float
Harborview Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or a Physician Assistant (PA-C), on our medicine inpatient service. The successful candidate will work both in the intensive care setting and the acute care setting depending on the hospital need. This position will have night and weekend responsibilities but no on-call expectations. This is a full time position.
Under general administrative supervision of the Assistant Director of Inpatient APPs, and medical supervision of the medical director, the APP provides clinical expertise to patients and their families, is a resource person for health care providers, and participates in research and teaching programs.
Work is performed 7 days a week with general independence and decision-making responsibility, under the guidance of the attending physicians, and in consultation with Fellows, residents and the unit’s Nurse Manager.
