The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for an open-rank faculty position to serve as the Advanced Education Program Director for the Orthodontics Program in the Division of Craniofacial and Surgical Care at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry. Responsibilities include: oversight of resident recruitment and selection for the orthodontics program, coordinating and providing didactic instruction and clinical supervision for advanced education and pre-doctoral students in the dental school, ensuring program compliance with the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), and preparing for and maintaining CODA accreditation. This position will also participate in the Dental Faculty Practice. A record of scholarly activity is desirable, and the pursuit of scholarly activity is expected. The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated record of achievement as a strong teacher, mentor, leader, care provider, and scholar.
Education and Experience:
Four years post residency/fellowship completion.
