The practical nursing program has opportunities to teach.
Part-time faculty is needed for classroom/lab instruction. The hours of instructional assignment would be a set schedule during the week within the hours of 8-4.
Part-time faculty is needed for a 12 hour shift one day per week for student clinical rotations at a variety of health care facilities within the Lexington community.

Adjunct clinical faculty in the practical nursing program are responsible for facilitating clinical experiences in a variety of area health care facilities for not more than ten students at a time. Responsibilities include acting as a liaison between the nursing program and the health care facility.
Adjunct faculty are expected to participate in orientation activities and nursing faculty meetings related to the course.
The current need is for adjunct faculty to facilitate learning of nursing students within in a clinical setting.
Travel to assigned health care facilities is required.
Qualifications for clinical/lab instructor:
Associate Degree in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master's of Science of Nursing or higher nursing degree with two years nursing experience, within the last five years, working as an RN is required. Two years of medical surgical or related experience is preferred.
Qualifications for classroom instructor:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master's of Science of Nursing or higher nursing degree with two years nursing experience, within the last five years, working as an RN is required. Two years of medical surgical or related experience such as cardiac critical care or intensive care are preferred.
