Mercer County Community College is seeking a HR Operations Manager who can envision, initiate, and drive transformational change of HR’s systems. The HR Operations Manager will work closely with the Human Resources and Payroll personnel to ensure efficient, seamless and accurate transactions are completed to support the divisional and departmental leader’s objectives. The HR Operations Manager drives HR transactional excellence and uniform best practices to support consist and timely transactions between the HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll systems within Colleague and other HR systems including the ATS.
The position is responsible to direct, manage and monitor the routine HRIS operations and to effectively drive information flow to support the bi-weekly payroll process. The position is responsible to develop and maintain a consistent, unified process between compensation, benefits, recruitment and payroll across the College, ensuring operational excellence. The position will collaborate within Human Resources to assess and manage a competitive and equitable compensation structure, benefit programs and supporting pay practices. The position will provide oversight and supervision of personnel supporting HRIS transactions within the desired processes and seek new opportunities to improve data flow and visibility. The position is responsible to develop written processes and procedures for reference within the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, to be conducted in accordance with college policies, procedures, collective bargaining contracts and applicable laws. Other duties may be assigned.
Bachelor’s degree 5 – 8 years’ experience in a professional role 3 – 5 years of an HRIS transformation and implementation experience including business analysis with in a complex organization Demonstrated experience with in HRIS systems such as ADP, Workday, Ulti-Pro, or PeopleSoft Experience in Change Management Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining data analytics and HR metrics Supervising staff
Masters degree preferred 5 – 8 years’ experience within HR Experience with Ellucian Colleague Administration of an Applicant Tracking System Experience in creating and maintaining Data Dashboard
