Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate in Mobile Health, focusing on interventions for substance use. The Postdoctoral Associate will collaborate with investigators at the Institute for Health, Healthcare Policy, and Aging Research; and Department of Psychiatry, to conduct research that aims to reduce substance use and to address other health behaviors (e.g., depression, weight management) using mobile health technologies (e.g., smartphone sensors and surveys, wearable device).
The Postdoctoral Associate will be involved in examining how continuously collected data from mobile phones (sensors, survey), wearable device (Fitbit), and brief cognitive tasks (app) can be used to identify changes in health behaviors (e.g., sleep, activity level) and substance use (alcohol, marijuana), which can ultimately be used to trigger
