Assistant Professor - Radiology, Memphis - 190000010R
THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION
The University of Tennessee is seeking a radiologist for night shift coverage for the 2 nd shift at Regional One Medical Center. Regional One Medical Center is a Level I Trauma Center. The candidate will interpret trauma, post surgical, and medical CT with a volume of about 60 cases/night. The candidate will also interpret trauma and ICU plain films, with an expected volume of 50-60 cases/night. Occasional ultrasound and emergency MRI is performed. Light interventional, such as CT guided drainage is a plus. Vascular interventional and MQSA are not required. Must be able to work with residents / fellows. Case mix is approximately 50% plain films, with the rest being made up of CT, US and MRI. Compensation is consistent and comparable to other services in the region.
Board certification or Board eligibility required
Completion of an accredited residency required and sub certifications/training highly preferred
Current unrestricted licensure as a Physician in Tennessee
Current certification DEA number
Eligible for malpractice insurance
Relocation is not required, however the work is on-site.
T he ideal candidate will be a strong general radiologist and may have a fellowship in either body imaging or neuroradiology.
