The PAS Supervisor oversees the day-to-day front and back office clinic operations of the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery practices.
This position provides leadership, supervision, and expert guidance to all PAS Staff (including PAS Trainees, PAS Specialists, and PAS Resource Specialists) and Medical Assistants who support scheduling, referrals, and chart preparation (imaging). Will also develop and execute best practice policies and coordinate clinical administrative activities to ensure the smooth flow of clinical services and operations.
The PAS Supervisor reports to the Division Manager and collaborates with the Surgical Time Share, Plastics, and Surgical Oncology clinic Practice Managers and works with Faculty to achieve optimal performance of scheduling and clinic related activities.
Will be expected to perform in a manner which promotes service excellence and professionalism through personal appearance, work ethic, attitude, and teamwork. This position supports and adheres, to the OHSU Code of Conduct and the Policies/Procedures of the Department of Surgery and Division of Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery.

Associate's degree or equivalent education and experience
Two years front line clerical setting with previous lead experience
Experience in managed care, billing, scheduling, and Human Resources
