Uses skills and experience as a seasoned, experienced professional with a comprehensive understanding of employee wellness practices and University policies and procedures. Develops and executes wellness programs and initiatives for UCI Health with the objective of driving a culture of whole-person wellness at UCI. This role collaborates across the enterprise on a broad array of wellness solutions and initiatives that drive employee wellness to all levels. At the local level, the incumbent will act as the lead and first point of contact for any UCI Health employee seeking information on employee wellness, serving as the liaison between key stakeholders and the appropriate contacts/support and resources. This individual will also manage and cultivate the Wellness Ambassador program to enhance communications, implementation, and reach of program activities. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and developing recommendations relative to employee wellness programs where analysis of situations and data requires a review of a variety of factors. Employee will also perform a wide variety of duties, which include but are not limited to project management, project implementation, analytical reporting, high-level communications, marketing campaigns, and education resource development. General instructions may be provided on new assignments, projects and initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Strong analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills.
Strong in-depth knowledge of organization policies and procedures; knowledge of functional area and understands how work may impact other areas. Comprehensive knowledge of the organization's employee benefits function and programs and can address unique circumstances as well as routine situations. Demonstrated strong writing, speaking, and group presentation skills in order to present information in a clear and concise manner to multiple levels in the organization.
In-depth knowledge of all benefits programs in order to provide information and interpretation.
