Directs and oversees the operations of the Kilcawley Center Student Union. Plans, oversees, and administers staff, contracted services, conference facilities, maintenance, construction, equipment, and student programming for the union/division. Plans and oversees budget(s). Oversees and monitors revenue and expenditures; creates and evaluates requests for proposals for new revenue sources, contracted services, and construction maintenance, renovations, and projects.
Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience in management, administration, programming, and supervision. Demonstrated evidence of facility management or knowledge of facility maintenance needs. Demonstrated ability to create and maintain an organization that provides exemplary customer service and high levels of patron satisfaction. Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop outstanding staff. Demonstrated ability to manage contracted services or a knowledge of contracted services. Demonstrated budget management experience. Demonstrated event/hospitality management experience, and application and implementation of new technology. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a diverse work environment. Ability to multitask, and manage in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekend and evening hours as needed.
A Master's degree in higher education, college student personnel, or a related field. At least eight years of budget management, supervision, facility and program management, emergency response experience, and/or hospitality or conferencing experience/event management. Professional organization experience in higher education.
