The Title IX Coordinator and Equity and Diversity Officer serves as the primary authority for overseeing the investigation and resolution of matters arising under Title IX and the University's policies against discrimination and harassment, including responsibility for directing education and training to prevent misconduct. This senior position also plays a central role on the University's discrimination and harassment response team. Reporting to the Chief Diversity Officer, the Title IX Coordinator and Equity and Diversity Officer will also contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of Colgate's Plan for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees and coordinates investigations, responses, and resolutions of complaints relating to reports of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and other related policy violations.
Serves as a member of the University's four-person discrimination and harassment response team (
