Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Information Systems, the Assistant Director for Enrollment Data and Reporting will maintain and produce daily reports for Enrollment Management departments from the student information system (SCT Banner) using MS Access, SQL and Excel. This involves using data from a large integrated database (200,000+ records) as well as longitudinal tables. This position monitors and reports on all aspects of the student lifecycle from recruit to graduation. This position will also be responsible for loading prospect and applicant data to Slate, a Customer Relationship Management product.
The Assistant Director will be responsible for coordinating a daily schedule of reports and processes. This includes analyzing, validating, and summarizing the enrollment data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports, and interpreting research data as appropriate. The candidate will participate in monitoring the consistency, quality, and integrity of the data within the student information system. This person will also provide technical support for current applications and processes, and other duties as assigned.
Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.
This is a full-time on-campus position. Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, plus some nights and weekends. Evening and weekend hours and travel required.
