Position responsible for Student Support Services (SSS) outreach efforts across campus, emphasizing the student services offered by SSS. Oversee the pilot program focusing on SSS-eligible students who come to UNL without an established identified program affiliation. This involves teaching a weekly seminar class. Develop programs to assist SSS participants in navigating the UNL bureaucracy. Guide SSS participants with academic, personal, or financial challenges, helping them to find the necessary resources. Represent SSS at NSE and other introduction programs.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education or academic performance of college students plus 2 years of experience in working closely with low-income, first-generation students (particularly students of color) required. Must have experience with guiding SSS-eligible type students in their academic pursuits. Must be able to relate to SSS-eligible students with respect.
TRIO experience preferred.
Posted Salary: $38,000 minimum
