This position work with SU-CSCS leadership to develop and implement initiatives and programs to fulfill the terms of grants, principally sponsored research (including state and federal grants from EPA and USDA) relating to environmental finance, sustainability programming, and public education and outreach efforts. Seek out, develop, and implement new programs, funding sources, and initiatives to further the mission of the Syracuse University Center for Sustainable Community Solutions / Environmental Finance Center (SU-CSCS/EFC). Provide research, policy, and technical support for SU-CSCS/EFC, with a particular focus on sustainable materials management, Recycle Right NY/PR, resiliency, and watershed management. This position will be based in Syracuse, NY and mainly responsible for managing programs in Puerto Rico (PR) and the US Virgin Islands (USVI), and travel to Puerto Rico will be required. In addition, this position will also manage programs in NY and other US states and territories as needed. This position will report directly to the Assistant Director and will be co-supervised by the Associate Director.
