Manages the daily operations of programs run by the Office including the Summer Institute, Pre-Law Institute, Legal English Institute, and Visiting Scholar and Research Fellows program.
Manages the Law School’s study abroad programs, including program development, selecting of outgoing students, serving as principal liaison for both outgoing and incoming students, building and maintaining relationships with counterparts at partner universities, communicating with Fordham Law students about study abroad opportunities, among other tasks.
Undertakes primary responsibility for the strategic development and of online degree and non-degree programs offered by the Office. Works closely with the Senior Director of Compliance and other Law School and University administrators involved in online education.
Assists in the operation of the Law School’s doctoral programs.
Organizes short-term custom programs.
Creates, maintains, and updates databases and ensures the continuity of data within Banner.
Revises and updates all web content for the programs managed by the Office.
Works with the Office of Communications on promotional and related materials prepared for the Office.
Interacts with other Law School and University offices with regard to program development and management.
Prepares and distributes the Global e-Newsletter prepared by the office.
Furnishes reports regarding ongoing and prior programs upon request.
Maintains programs alumni and related databases.
Manages the budget maintained by the Office.
Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Dean.
Law school degree required.
Three years of administrative experience required; work in postsecondary education strongly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
Experience in online programs management strongly preferred.
Familiarity with Banner preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills required.
Must be detail-oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and efficient.
Must have a strong ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with students, faculty, and other administrators both within and outside the Law School.
