UW Medical Center – Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a part-time (90% FTE, 36 hours per week), variable shift REGISTERED NURSE to join our Emergency Department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with intensivist and clinical nurse specialist to enhance best care outcomes for our patients.
SCHEDULE Part time, variable work shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively as part of a professional medical team that includes doctors, social workers, care managers and therapists. You will work to restore the patients’ health by following evidence-based nursing practices and managing complex health issues. The Registered Nurse will identify care needs and monitor and administer medications and intravenous infusions to help optimize the patient’s recovery to health.
Position requires at least 2 years of current/recent inpatient experience
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
Previous nursing experience in a critical care or emergency room environment.
