Visiting Part-Time Faculty Position in Computer Science
Description The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting part-time faculty position to teach one computer science course each semester, to begin in August 2021. This position may be renewed for future years contingent upon satisfactory performance, departmental needs, and funding approval by the College. Commensurate with experience, visiting faculty will have the opportunity to teach at either the introductory, intermediate, or advanced levels, following established curriculum guidelines.
Qualifications Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field. While a Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field is preferred, candidates with a MS or equivalent degree in computer science or related field, who are ABD, or who have industry experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
