Provide a lead role in the operation of pesticide application equipment. Calculate appropriate quantities of pesticide and adjuvants per load. Load, mix, and apply pesticides used for weed and insect control in row crop and forage production. Evaluate pesticide performance. Recognize plant diseases and infestations. Maintain and repair pesticide equipment. Document pesticide applications and product inventory. Assist with other farm tasks as assigned. Position requires obtaining a pesticide applicator's license within one year of hire.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in agriculture or related field plus two years of crop production experience; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience must demonstrate precision, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to operate, setup, and maintain equipment associated with pesticide applications. Ability to use computers for planning and recording of inventory, field applications, and communication.
