The department of Campus Recreation at West Virginia University is seeking applications for a Personal Trainer. This position is responsible for helping clients set and reach their fitness goals. Personal Trainers conduct fitness assessments and design individualized exercise programs. They provide high quality customer service to each client.
In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will:
Lead clients of various ages and abilities through exercises to help them reach their wellness goals.
Conduct consultation and comprehensive fitness assessments.
Work Hours : 20 Hours per Week
Pay Grade : 15
High School graduate or GED.
Experience in the fitness field.
Passion for fitness.
Ability to conduct fitness assessments.
Ability to lead clients through sessions and help them reach their fitness goals.
Nationally recognized certification as a certified personal trainer (e.g., ACE, NASM, CSCS, ACSM)
Current CPR/First Aid certification (e.g., Red Cross, AHA, etc.)
