Perform maintenance, diagnoses of equipment malfunctions, and repairs of automobiles, trucks, UTVs and other agriculture and construction equipment. Acquisition and inventory of repair parts. Conduct and record vehicle safety inspections at scheduled intervals. Assist with the management of fuel storage systems. Occasional fabrication or modification of equipment mechanical systems.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school diploma plus three years of experience with vehicle maintenance and repairs of gas engines required; equivalency considered. Knowledge, skill, and ability to perform vehicle maintenance and repair minor vehicle problems.
Associate's degree in mechanical field such as diesel technology, automotive technology, agriculture mechanics, or related field. Experience in agriculture mechanics. Agricultural mechanic skills. Repair and diagnostic skills with engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and equipment electrical systems. Computer diagnostics and troubleshooting skills. Spot painting and welding skills. Self-starter, independent worker, thorough and timely with repairs.
