The University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center is looking to hire a Data Management Specialist to facilitate the collection, integration, and utilization of data supporting a broad range of cancer research efforts.
Relevant skills and experience include: oProficiency in programming with Java and/or Python to carry out data analysis on large and complex datasets. oProficiency in using SQL with relational databases, MySQL/Postgresql preferred oExperience with electronic medical record data or clinical databases preferred. oExperience developing REDCap forms and accessing REDCap API to efficiently export/import patient data. oFamiliarity with Linux-based operating systems oExperience with open source software installation and maintenance
