Successful candidates will have the ability to teach undergraduate special education courses within the Educator Preparation Program. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in culturally responsive pedagogy and experience teaching in a variety of settings and across multiple grade levels. We seek an individual whose professional responsibilities may include teaching undergraduate courses, collaborating with faculty and staff in the Center for Clinical Experiences, and serving as a liaison between the University and PK-12 schools. The successful candidate will possess special education endorsement(s) and be committed to the academic success of all students and to creating an environment that acknowledges, encourages, respects, and celebrates diversity and differences. Candidates from historically underrepresented and marginalized groups are especially encouraged to apply. This position is effective August 23, 2021. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
