This position provides executive support to the Vice President and Associate Vice President for University Advancement at Elon University. The executive assistant coordinates all activities of the office of the Vice President by maintaining a high awareness of all key activities within the division. The executive assistant is an excellent communicator, has a broad understanding of fundraising, has an ability to work independently, works under pressure at times, and maintains a high degree of confidentiality.

Special Skills Or Experience:
Experience using Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Raiser’s Edge software is desirable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Assists the Vice President in conducting day-to-day operations of the university advancement division, including preparation for meetings, multi-media presentations, scheduling and organizing meetings and event, entering data and executing reports in constituent database (Raiser's Edge NXT).
2.Maintains the Vice President and Associate Vice President’s calendar of appointments.
3.Assists the Vice President with the Board of Trustees Advancement and Alumni Committees. Helps prepare meeting materials and takes minutes. Transcribes minutes for approval by the Vice President and provides copy to the secretary to the Board of Trustees.
4.Leads the effort to provide accurate and timely briefing materials for the President, Vice President and other key university academic and administrative leaders in support of travel and university advancement events
