The Rockefeller University seeks a Research Assistant, Genetically Encoded Small Molecules to join Genetically Encoded Small Molecules. The Research Assistant will perform mouse experiments on a variety of projects within the Laboratory. The Laboratory aims to define the role of gastrointestinal microbiota in mammalian health. Many biochemical studies have progressed from in vitro systems to in vivo models, and responsibilities include keeping up with the growing number of in vivo experiments. These experiments generally involve analytical assessment of animal health after exposure to either wild-type or genetically modified bacteria.
Bachelor's degree in science and previous mouse experience required. Must be willing and able to work with mice. Training will be provided as necessary.
