The Student Health Center (SHC) at New York University (NYU) is a dynamic health care service that supports the well-being and academic success of over 60,000 students studying all over the world. The SHC near Washington Square is our main facility for medical services and houses Primary Care, Women’s Health, Medical Specialties, Radiology, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy and more. This site is also home to and integrated with Counseling and Wellness, one of the most robust college mental health services in the U.S.

Serve as a staff physician for NYU's Student Health Center (SHC) and provide high quality patient care and health education to a diverse University community in both Primary Care and Urgent Care settings.

Required Education:
M.D. or D.O. degree, NY State medical license, Board Certified or Board Eligible in either Internal Medicine, Med/Peds, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine. BLS certification.

Required Experience:
2 years clinical experience as a Physician. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration, eligibility to obtain medical liability insurance. Approval for clinical privileges by the Credentials Committee.

Preferred Experience:
Experience working in a Primary Care and/or Student Health practice setting

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
