Plymouth State University invites applications for a non-tenure-track Teaching Faculty position in the area of Secondary English Education beginning August 2021. The Teaching Faculty positions are full time, with benefits, funded on a year-to-year basis, carry a teaching load of 30 to 32 credit hours per year as well as advising and service expectations, and are eligible for promotion to a senior teaching faculty rank.
*Masterâs degree in Education or related field *Minimum of 3-5 yearsâ experience teaching at the 5-12 level, preferably in a public school *Evidence of excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level *Strong written and verbal communication skills *Awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a multicultural population as might have been gained in cross-cultural study, training, teaching and other comparable experience
