The Division of Arthritis and Rheumatic Diseases at OHSU specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and study of the full spectrum of rheumatic disorders including the treatment of disorders of joints, bones, tendons, bursae, and muscles. The practice also addresses a wide range of autoimmune disorders that commonly attack blood vessels, the kidney, brain, nerves, heart, lungs, and liver.
The Clinical Research Assistant 2 will be responsible for the following activities to help support active research studies within the Division of Arthritis and Rheumatic Diseases at OHSU.
Complete electronic data capture for screened and randomized patients in a timely manner
Maintain and organize current study binders, as well as prepare for site visits and meet with monitors
Actively screen and randomize patients for the studies. This will include coordinating appointments with the PI and/or sub-PI
Submit modification approvals to the IRB and complete all other IRB reportorial requirements
Coordinate with OPAM and Contracts office during budget and contract negotiation process
Participate in recruitment activities for active studies
Coordinate care of research patients with their specialists/PCPs
Coordinates with Department of Medicine office and OPAM for account maintenance, invoicing, and reconciliation
Bachelors Degree (4 yr) with major courses in field of research/No Experience OR Associates Degree (2 yr) AND 3 years related experience.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Outlook, and Excel)
Demonstrated ability of strong organizational skills
Experience working with data and study procedures
Familiarity with health record database systems
