This full-time, tenure track faculty position in the Social Work Program at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls is at the rank of Assistant Professor. The teaching load is 12 credits per semester. As this is a small program, flexibility in the ability to teach a variety of courses is expected. Compensation is based upon qualifications, including both education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
An MSW from a CSWE-accredited program is required.
A doctorate in social work or related field is required
At least 2 years post MSW full time experience in professional social work practice is required.
ACSW eligibility is required.
Demonstrated teaching experience in higher education is required.
Flexibility to teach all courses in BSW curriculum is required.
Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to diverse populations and ability to contribute to the University's commitments to inclusivity, equity, and social justice is required.
A doctorate in social work is strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability teaching BSW students with a variety of learner focused methodologies, reflecting high impact teaching practice
Utilization of technology that enhances teaching and learning is preferred.
Post-MSW licensure is preferred.
