The Senior Admissions Officer/Assistant Director recruits, evaluates, and participates in the selection of candidates for admissions. Maintains liaison with all organizations and individuals involved in the admissions process. Develops public presentations designed to promote the institution. Advises parents and applicants about educational planning. Typically responsible for more complex recruitment region or category than Admissions Officer 2. May possess specialized knowledge in one or more areas of admissions, e.g. international recruitment, multicultural recruitment, web-based recruitment, etc. May have project or program responsibility.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree and
Required Experience: 2 years' admissions or related student services experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to promote the University and to work independently as well as part of a team. Outstanding interpersonal, public speaking, and writing skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations and/or people. Valid drivers license. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel extensively.
