To improve cleanliness of all residence hall facilities, improve appearance of high traffic areas and maintain a sanitary environment in the residence hall.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Communicate effectively with supervisor, co-workers, and students
Perform basic computer tasks-submit time through online system, submitting work orders online, and checking email
Exercise good judgment at all times
Organize work tasks in a logical and effective manner
Recognize safety concerns and adhere to safety procedures
Recognize and communicate building problems and concerns
Use or learn to use various custodial equipment
Use or learn to use cleaning and miscellaneous chemicals
Read labels and follow instructions
Work independently or as part of a group
Perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 pounds or more
Pass essential job function screening
Respond to issues in the residence halls that will require an employee may be called after regular working hours

Successful completion of a post offer employment screen will be required prior to appointment. A six-month probationary period is required. The pay rate for this position is $14.00 per hour.
